EXPANDING ELVA'S PRODUCT PLATFORM: LONG TERM STRATEGIC PLANNING

IN THE BEGINNING:
As one of the Company's first Product Managers, I ensured that the birth of its multi-industry internal product line was developed in alignment with the needs of both the company and its users. I also promoted effective collaboration amongst different teams by bridging the communication gap between the engineering team and our users.

Having grown within the organization, I currently focus on more strategy related matters as it concerns client and company product lifecycle management processes by focusing on the big picture company mission and ensuring the team has a consistent understanding of the overarching business objectives.

At the moment, I currently work with Elva in executing light-weight products for individuals and businesses. I do this by validating early stage ideas and introducing light-weight products into industry eco-systems.
MY CONTRIBUTIONS:
  • Identify opportunities for new products which address the needs of both new and existing customers and create detailed requirements for these products.
  • Lead product reviews in assessing how well existing products are performing and identify areas for improvement.
  • Train product managers and members of their teams in imbibing foundational company processes in their product outcomes.
  • Present data to senior management to inform decision-making and support strategic planning initiatives.
  • Ensure that ideas and plans remain cohesive throughout the various stages of development.
  • Experiment with newsletters and collaborate with marketing in establishing value oriented strategies that guarantee growth.
RESULTS:
  • Orchestrated pricing models that increased ARPU by 40%
  • Elevated user adoption for an e-learning application by 200% with the introduction of a scholarship feature, new programmes and a virtual self paced learning platform.
  • Spearheaded a N500,000+ revenue increase within 4 months through an iterative redesign of the company website
