STREAMLINING MULTI-INDUSTRY PRODUCTS: A B2C APPROACH TO PRODUCT MANAGEMENT
IN THE BEGINNING:
As a Product Manager fresh out of EntryLevel, Australia , I was able to bring my prior working experiences in marketing, strategy and research
towards contributing to products in various stages of its lifecycle
Some of my primary roles had to do with conducting market research, defining product requirements, developing product roadmaps
and supporting sales and marketing teams.
MY CONTRIBUTIONS:
Studied consumer needs and the competitive landscape and collected data and customer insights to develop product
outcomes and make informed product decisions.
Defined product requirements by conducting user research and establishing the product’s features,
functionality, and user experience based
on market research in developing a product resonating with its target audience.
Generated a strategy specifying the product’s development schedule and prioritized features and functionality
based on market demand, trends and business objectives.
Collaborated with cross-functional teams in ensuring products corresponded with client and organziation goals.
Guaranteed compliance with the set product roadmap and its specifications.
Participated in product testing in assessing how well existing client products performed and identified areas for improvement.
Developed product messaging and collateral, providing sales and product marketing teams with training, and engaging with them in building adoption-driving methods.
RESULTS:
Researched market opportunities for an affiliate marketing program tracking software, Metricks and facilitated the product and go-to-market strategy.
Introduced the Metricks Marketplace and informed the MVP requirements for the platform product
Partnered with Zeno to quality test and round up development efforts for ride hailing software, Lagos Ride, V1.
Introduced marketing strategies for customer service business, Kweekatel.
