LAUNCHING MASTERCARD'S SPENDNWIN CAMPAIGN: BRINGING JOY TO NIGERIA'S UEFA FANS
IN THE BEGINNING:
Every year, MasterCard offers its unwavering support towards the annual UEFA Champions League games.
Around April, 2023, I was contracted to build up an impromptu team in delivering a Gaming software for the
2023 Spend and Win MasterCard Campaign that would see one lucky winner visit Istanbul to watch the game's Final match.
Gathering professionals in my close network was the first step. Next, the team and I dedicated 15 hours out of 24 hours in the day to planning, designing and developing 3 interface applications
- the gaming application itself, an admin and super-admin platform which handled high volumes of user interaction per activation day.
MY CONTRIBUTIONS:
Identified and prioritized features, enhancements, and bug fixes that will have the
most significant impact on customer satisfaction and business goals.
By leveraging data analytics and user behavior metrics, I was able to measure the impact of product changes
in minizing risk thereby increasing the likelihood of product success.
Established the scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines of the project,
and made use of effective tools and methods to collaborate, share, and track progress.
RESULTS:
Slashed the product development timeline of a gaming, admin and super admin application by 70% ensuring a 1 and half month delivery output with minimal bugs
Managed more than 45,000 users ensuring feedback channels were open 24/7 and developers and designers were on continued stand-by
Introduced an admin and super admin panel that oversaw about 20 active store locations where MasterCard’s activation was running simultaneously for an activation period of 6 weeks.
